Home page design concept for Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair
The Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair, affectionately known as DAAF, is the only national event of its kind and has secured a reputation as one of the country’s most significant internationally recognised arts events.
To design home page that reflects aboriginal culture, easy navigation through the website and promote the fair.
For the main title and menu, the Amatic SC Bold font was chosen as the font characters reflect the nature of the fair and added personality. For the body text and lower hierarchy titles, the Roboto font was chosen as an easy-to-read and clear font. The palette was taken from the shades of Australian Aboriginal flag colours and the official colors of Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair.
